JDI Policies

Summarized below are key policies, rules and expectations of JDI Barbell Members. 

These apply to all members of JDI Barbell, including TriBeca and Harlem, and to help create an exceptional experience for everyone. Under your Membership Agreement, you are responsible for complying with all JDI Barbell policies, including without limitation those outlined in this document, and JDI Barbell reserves the right to cancel, revoke or suspend your membership for a violation of any of our policies 

JDI Barbell Policies.

Check-In: You are required to check in via FACILIKEY upon entry or reentry to any JDI location. This includes the public or private member entrance at the TriBeCa location. Members may not allow anyone access into the facility using their Facilikey access under any circumstances.

Good Standing: JDI reserves the right to prohibit you from accessing and entering any location, if there are any outstanding past-due/overdue amounts payable to JDI Barbell or your membership is otherwise not in good standing.

Guests: The JDI member must accompany their guest into the facility, and their guest is required to purchase a day pass using their unique membership discount code prior to entry. Members are allowed one guest per day under this policy. Additional guests must also purchase their day passes in advance, but they must pay the full cost. Guests must comply with all applicable JDI Policies while accessing and using the location. Failure to comply with these policies will result in a $60.00 fee as well as a warning email from JDI regarding the violation. Any violation by either a member or their guest may result in the suspension or termination of your access to any JDI Barbell location without refund. 

In the Gym

Member Conduct: You are expected to act in a respectful and socially acceptable manner while using your location and to be mindful of other individuals’ physical and personal space. You may not engage in behavior that JDI considers unruly or inappropriate, including without limitation harassing, badgering, antagonizing, taunting, threatening, abusing, touching, or otherwise acting in an aggressive, or inappropriate manner towards any other member,  employee or other individual. JDI reserves the right to remove you from any location and/or revoke, cancel, suspend or otherwise limit your membership, and/or notify law enforcement authorities if you engage in any conduct or behavior that JDI, in its discretion, considers inappropriate, indecent, unsafe, unlawful or otherwise in violation of JDI Policies. JDI Barbell runs on the honor code system, as we hope that our members at each location honor our 24/7 policy as well as all of the products offered and sold within our facility. 

Lockers: Lockers are provided solely for your benefit and convenience.. JDI  will remove any articles left in a locker overnight. Certain lockers may be rented for an additional, non-refundable fee, subject to additional terms and conditions set forth in the required Locker Rental Agreement. 

Personal Property: JDI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR THE LOSS OR THEFT OF, OR DAMAGE TO, ANY PERSONAL PROPERTY OF YOU OR YOUR GUESTS, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY ITEMS LEFT IN LOCKERS, LOCKER ROOMS, RECOVERY ROOM (Harlem), OR THE COAT CHECK OR ELSEWHERE IN ANY CLUB.
