Welcome To The Circle Training Framework!

Circle What

Playing is exercise.

The Circle Training Framework is a flexible structure that gives you more time for what you love to do while providing you the tools to enjoy it more. It’s a blueprint for building the physical traits and attributes that make up the foundation to perform well in whatever interests you.

This framework is for anyone who wants to make themselves stronger, mobile, resilient, and able to endure more of anything physically demanding. Able to do more of what they love. But it’s also for those who don’t have time to waste.

You’re busy. You don’t need another workout program that eats more of your time. The CT Framework isn’t about doing more, it’s a  core structure that keeps you focused on doing the few things that grant the most result. It’s a method of managing physical activity by doing only what you absolutely need to be a truly healthy and physically capable person able to do whatever you want whenever you want to.

What’s So Different About This?

The CT Framework is all about prioritizing play time. It’s built around you putting the physical hobbies you genuinely enjoy first and then filling the small holes in conditioning, strength, and mobility that your hobbies don’t address.

It does this by providing:

  • 20-30 minute focused workouts spaced over two to three times a week that include only what is absolutely necessary to cover the full range of needs for strength, movement quality, body composition, and conditioning,

  • Help in enjoying (or finding) your physical fun and giving you the tools to build health and fitness lacking nothing.

  • A short and simple list of weekly priorities to check-off in your own time, whenever it’s most convenient for you.

What Is My Physical Fun?

Your physical fun is whatever active hobby that you really enjoy or have enjoyed in the past. It could be fun kickboxing classes, time spent doing yoga, dance classes, martial arts, weekend hikes, pick-up volleyball games, skateboarding, playing double dutch, shooting a basketball with your kids, or rock climbing at a local gym. Anything that moves your entire body makes the list.

If we schedule our physical fun first, we create structure that allows us to be active, healthy and capable of doing all types of physical activities and a mindset that doesn’t view physical fitness as a chore to be done in a gym.

Is There More?

The CT Framework will also include something called Ranks. You can choose which Rank depending on what equipment and tools you have available and what you want out of this:

  • For Rank 1 you need absolutely no equipment. You can do the short workouts at home, at a park, on a basketball or tennis court. Really anywhere.

  • For Rank 2  you will need some easy-to-get tools and implements. Links are provided as to where you can easily purchase these. These workouts can still be done at home or anywhere outside.

  • For Rank 3  you will need a full gym. You don’t have to join a gym but you do have to make sure that your at-home/garage gym has the full list of equipment needs. Again links are provided as to where everything can be purchased.

All 3 Ranks are going to be released soon. But  for now, only Rank 1 will be available. This is being released first because it provides a great foundation to build from and is perfect for the end of summer whether you have access to gym equipment or not.

And there’s no need to ever go from Rank 1 to Rank 2 if you don’t want to. This structure allows you to continue to progress by rotating through the 3-phases within each Rank. But if over time you want to challenge yourself in new and interesting ways, you can try Rank 2 when it is released.

What’s This Look Like?

The workouts themselves are arranged in a 3-phase system. Each phase is repeatable, flexible, and adaptable and it all builds on itself to address the entire spectrum of strength and fitness.

Each phase has a focus and intent –

  • Phase one focuses on reinforcing joints, building trunk and structural stability, and preparing the body to be able to withstand more work.

  • Phase two focuses on strength development and power.

  • Phase three focuses on repeating effort both in strength movements and endurance dominated activities.

So, you’ll be provided with short, focused, engaging and easily modifiable workouts that are flexible to your busy, ever-changing daily life. You’ll have tools which help you monitor your progress so that you can either challenge yourself or ease up on things when needed.  You’ll learn how to balance all this with the time you spend enjoying your physical hobby and whatever other demands you have on your life.
